About Pietra

As a 9th grader, I know the importance of staying motivated and excited about learning. I’m dedicated to helping you build your confidence and skills in a way that’s enjoyable and easy to understand. I create each lesson plan specifically for each student to ensure that it’s not only effective but also fun! About the lesson

Hi, I’m Pietra! I’m a 9th grader, and I’m excited to help younger students (5th grade and under) improve in reading, writing, creative writing, spelling, and Portuguese accent reduction. I make learning fun and engaging with personalized lessons tailored to fit your needs and learning style.

Typical Lesson Plan:

1. Warm-Up (5-10 minutes):
Start with a quick review of the previous lesson or an engaging activity related to the topic (e.g., a fun spelling game or reading a short passage together).

2. Introduction to New Material (15-20 minutes):
Introduce a new concept, like a writing technique or a grammar rule, through simple examples. I’ll break it down and make sure you understand it before we move on.

3. Practice (15-20 minutes):
Apply what we’ve learned with exercises or activities, such as writing short sentences, doing spelling drills, or reading a passage aloud. I’ll guide you through each step and provide helpful tips.

4. Review & Feedback (5-10 minutes):
Review what was learned in the lesson, address any questions, and give feedback on how to improve.

5. Wrap-Up (5 minutes):
Assign a fun, easy homework task that reinforces the lesson and allows you to practice independently.
