About Annmary
I am a 5th year medical student with a strong academic background and a patient, supportive approach to teaching. I have always enjoyed helping others understand challenging topics and believe that confidence is just as important as knowledge when it comes to learning.
Having gone through demanding exams myself, I understand the pressures students face at GCSE and below. I aim to make lessons clear, structured, and encouraging, helping students feel more comfortable with Maths and the sciences and approach their studies with greater confidence.
Outside of tutoring and medicine, I enjoy staying organised, continuously improving my teaching approach, and supporting students in reaching their academic goals.

My lessons are structured, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I begin by identifying areas of strength and weakness, then focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts before applying this knowledge through guided practice and exam-style questions. I place particular emphasis on clear explanations, problem-solving skills, and exam technique. Lessons are paced to suit the student, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and actively engaging with the subject.
