A typical lesson with me begins with a broad overview of the topic that is being taught, followed by a deeper look into the smaller constituents of the aforementioned topic. I emphasise core concepts with practical examples relative to what is important to ensure effective learning! I am very detail oriented and pay close attention to active recall strategies & recommend spaced repetition for students to do in their own time,
I only teach in english.
My lessons are aimed at all students from grade 8 to grade 12 in maths and biology/ human sciences.
Ideally I ask my students to give me an indication of what is going to be done in the session as I like to prepare my lessons in advance and ensure all core concepts are being taught sufficiently!
