Tutoring offered for RN and RPN students.
I've tutored nursing students for 2+ years, offering a wide range of both practical and theoretical knowledge. I've worked and completed placement at 3 different hospitals in the oncology, nephrology, acute medicine, and emergency department units and therefore, possess the hands-on clinical skills to supplement the lessons I teach. I try to incorporate as many practical examples as possible when explaining a concept so nursing students are able gain a deeper understanding of concepts and apply them to a wide-range of scenarios.
Prior to beginning tutoring lessons, I like to speak with the student and determine which areas they would like help with and create a tutoring plan that best supports their educational needs. I work with the student to determine their teaching styles and cater my lessons towards the methods that work best for them!
