Hello! I’m Ayanna, and I’m here to help you reach your academic goals with confidence and enthusiasm. With over 5 years of tutoring experience and a genuine passion for helping others, I’m dedicated to guiding you through your educational journey, making learning not just effective, but also enjoyable.

In addition to my extensive tutoring background, I have a strong academic record, I was head girl of my school, won an award from Oxford University out of 1000's in an international conference for my public speaking and debating, as well as many academic achievements in secondary and medical school for my high grades and engagement. I also have a strong commitment to giving back to the community. I’ve volunteered in a variety of settings, including working at a care home, night shelters, and with local charities. These experiences have helped me develop a deep sense of empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple, understandable ways. I know how important it is to adapt my approach based on the individual needs of each person, which is why I take a highly personalized and supportive approach to tutoring.

I also have significant experience in helping students prepare for the 11+ exams and medical school interviews—volunteering my time to provide free tutoring for these high-stakes milestones. This experience has honed my ability to break down challenging topics and teach them in a way that builds confidence and success. My goal is to break down complex concepts into manageable, bite-sized pieces, ensuring that you not only understand the material but truly master it.

Active Learning: Instead of just lecturing, I encourage students to actively participate through discussions, problem-solving, and critical thinking exercises. As well as many past papers and questions.
Clear Explanations: I explain difficult topics in simple, relatable terms, making it easier for students to grasp.
Flexible Learning Styles: Whether you learn best by doing, listening, or seeing, I tailor my approach to match your preferred style.
Focus on Building Confidence: It’s not just about memorizing facts — I focus on helping students build the confidence to tackle challenges independently.
