About Ross
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have a maths tutor for both National 5 and Higher levels. This fundamentally gave me the support and ability to go onto achieve A's at both levels. Teachers at school were useful but I found that having someone to refer to individually for help was much more beneficial.
I love learning about new things and know how important it is to have someone enthusiastic about the subject to teach. I really enjoy the feeling of helping people understand concepts or problems they don't currently understand. From first-hand experience, I know how it feels and how helpful it is to have a good tutor and I am at a point in my studies where I feel I could reflect this back onto students of my own.

With tutoring, I like to tailor my lessons to the people I'm teaching. Everyone can have a different way of learning, and I like to find the best method to ensure as high a success rate as possible. Lessons will typically last 1 hour, making use of available past papers and online resources. I like to provide reinforcement material if required to best aid learning and studying. I've had a small experience tutoring in the past, with my goals for this being to improve and build a network of students who can enjoy, trust and benefit from my services and experience in maths!
