I am a 4th year chemical engineering student at the University of Birmingham offering maths lessons. I got an A* in maths at GCSE level and A in maths at A level. I am currently on course to achieve a 2:1 in chemical engineering.

I like to make the sessions interactive and hands on. I always create an effective class opener at the beginning to set the tone for the lesson. I then introduce the topic using multiple representations and solve the problem in many ways. I then show the application in order to demonstrate how the concept can be applied to the real world. I then have students communicate their reasoning and finish with a class summary.
