About Chaandini
Hi! My name is Chaandini, a 4th-year McMaster student studying towards a Bachelors of Science, with a major in Honours Biology and a double minor in Psychology and Statistics. I have more that 5 years of teaching experience. Some of my experiences include teaching Abacus at Active Brain Center to students aged 4-10, teaching Math and English at BITFA Tutoring Center. I have also been running my own tutoring services for 5 years with many satisfied customers. In addition, I have years of experience teaching Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance form) to kids of varying ages. My well-rounded experience of teaching different disciplines has helped me develop various teaching techniques, making me well equiped to assist educational needs!

My teaching philosophy stems from the concept that no knowledge is outside ones capabilities, with the right resources anyone can learn anything. My method of teaching involves meeting you at your level of understanding and unlocking your capacity to achieve above and beyond that. During class times we will take to time to comprehend the concept as much as possible through detailed explanations catered to your needs. After you will have the opportunity to apply what you've learnt through exercises. An exercise I like to include is for the student to explain the topic to me as if they are teaching me! Finally, practice practice practice :). I will give you as many resources are you want in order to practice!
I teach Math, Science, and Biology from grades 3-12. I also teach Pre-IB and IB students. Homework help, Test prep, Exam prep are all a part of my services. For other specific Test/Exam help can be provided give the syllabus!
