About Natalie
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and have been teaching 4th grade for the past two years. Teaching is truly my passion, I love creating meaningful learning experiences, discovering new ways to engage students, and continuously growing alongside them.
I am dedicated to helping students not only strengthen their academic skills but also build confidence in themselves as learners. Watching students develop independence, curiosity, and pride in their progress is what inspires me every day. My goal is always to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel capable, motivated, and excited to grow.

My approach is student-centered, structured, and encouraging. With over three years of classroom experience—including two years teaching 4th grade in Austin Independent School District after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024—I understand how to balance high expectations with strong support.
I use:
-Explicit instruction to clearly model skills step-by-step
-Guided practice to build confidence before independent work
-Differentiation to meet each student at their level
-Targeted questioning to strengthen critical thinking
-Ongoing formative assessment to adjust instruction in real time
I focus on building foundational skills while also helping students understand the why behind what they’re learning. Whether it’s breaking down a multi-step math problem or strengthening reading comprehension strategies, I make learning clear and manageable.
