About
Whether you are just beginning your musical journey or continuing to grow as a pianist, there will be lots of learning, creativity, and fun as we work together.
Piano lessons will include:
Warm-ups and technical skills (posture, hand position, scales, chords)
Repertoire – learning pieces suited to your level and interests
Music theory & creativity – understanding how music works, plus a little composition
Performance skills – preparing for informal and formal sharing opportunities
A little bit about me: I started taking piano lessons at age four. I added organ lessons when I was 13. I hold a bachelor's degree in music education from Florida State University. I also hold master’s and Ed.S. degrees in education. I was a public school teacher for 35 years. Concurrently, for most of those years, I taught piano lessons.
Music is a gift that lasts a lifetime, and I am honored to guide you in developing this skill.
For homeschooled-students, I can accept ESA Funds.
