About Joseph

Music became my first true love in life and I have been pursuing the study and joy of music infinatley since I began this journey. I continue to explore the guitar and its endless possibilities and love sharing my ideas with people. I would help my students learn music and guitar by teaching them techniques, knowledge and skills to progress their playing as far as they would like. I would gear the lesson plans towards the students wants and needs making the experience enjoyable and challenging at the same time.

I have been playing music for 14 years and studying it professionally for the past 4 years.

I have also been teaching guitar for a few years as well. I have studied with many teachers. List of mentors and teachers available upon request. I am currently attending CSU for a bachelors degree in music performance with a focus in Jazz Studies. I am in my final year of my program and plan to attend for my masters.

I enjoy teaching and teaching music. I love music and the joy or sharing and collaborating with other people.

I had friends ask me to teach them how to play guitar. I enjoy teaching music and teaching in general.

Working through a bachelors degree program at Cleveland State University. I have been playing guitar for 14 years.

I attended the Galloup Guitar school of building and repair and have plenty of experience with minor repairs on the guitar as well as full set ups, that inclued but not limited to, intonation, action adjustment and truss rod adjustment.

About the lesson

Get to know the students wants and needs, teach them the skills and knowledge to play music. I keep track the students progress to make sure they are learning and progressing as a guitarist and musician.

Students in the age range of 18-30, but I am open to teaching any age group.

Find a teacher that loves their instrument they play and has experience playing their instrument. Make sure you also like your teacher. This is someone you may potentially spend alot of time with. If you enjoy spending time with your teacher, your overall experience with music will be more enjoyable as well.

Playing music with one of my mentors and connecting on a deeper level, to the point we speak to each other through the music as a language rather than our native language or English.
