About Bj

I've been breeding and raising horses for over 40 years . Currently standing Dipped in Gold APHA stallion. I've had many students help me train my youngsters. I have many students that have gone on to training outside horses. I teach how to saddle your own horse and groom and feed and clean tack so all around exposure to what knowledge is needed. I'm still involved in showing, if a student shows promise I won't mind including taking them to a local show . Everything from halter to performance in western pleasure, trail, equitation. I have won many championships with my horses.

I didn't have any coaching growing up and I love to give back . I could charge $55/hr but I want to get more riders out that can fit my price into their budget.

I have been raising, breaking, showing horses in competition and trail for over 40 years . I judge shows occasionally and give pointers on what needs to improve, if it's rider , on their horse or mine .

About the lesson

I start in the round pen seeing what the student knows or doesn't know then graduate to arena if they are comfortable, then down the road for a trail ride .

All ages, lots of adhd, add., aspergers , slightly overweight . Beginners to advanced riders .

I took my stallion to extreme trail challenge for world competition. We came in top 20 and I'm super proud to have done this challenge with my best friend (my horse 😊)

Details

I charge $35/hour lesson. I can do 2 students at a time . No I won't do 3 . My policy on safety is strict! I have helmets for kids and would prefer the adults bring head gear.
