About Daniel
Born in San Diego, California. I have worked as a Mathematics and Physics tutor since 2016. I studied Astronomy at SDSU and it was awesome! I had the opportunity to work at the Wyoming Infrared Observatory and the University of Wyoming alongside a scientist doing research on exoplanets (planets around other stars!), spent 25 nights at the telescope over 2 months, and was a co-author in the research paper using the data we obtained.
I like to approach mathematics as learning the language of the universe and practice makes perfect. I like to give my students examples of the awesome work being done by scientists today that is possible using physics and mathematics, and adapting to the learning style of each student.
Learning mathematics allows us to study science and science allows us to ask questions and seek the answers to have a better understanding of nature and the universe and ourselves as we are part of it.
When I’m not teaching and learning about the universe I like to travel, walk my dog, play the drums with my band, play baseball, read, watch sitcoms and play old school video games.
