About Matthew

I am a current Senior at American University studying Computer Science and Physics. I have experienence as both a TA and a summer camp counselor, so I also love sports!

I have experience as both a TA and a summer camp counselor, and I love working with children and helping people understand topics they are struggling with.

While I have limited experience as a tutor specifically, I have worked as a TA for an intro computer science class, as well as two years as a summer camp counselor for children ages 8-11.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I typically like to start by getting to know them a bit, and then understanding where they are not just struggling but also excelling. That way I can be sure to help bring them up to speed with their difficult areas, but also offer rewarding challenges to help reinforce the areas they have a strong understanding of.
