About Elizabeth
I'm passionate about language and helping my students feel "Comfortable." This past december, 2020, I graduated from Wheaton college with a double major in Biblical Archaeology and Ancient and Classical Languages. I am competent in Latin and Hebrew, but I specialized in Ancient Greek. I've studied English as well, and moonlight as a paper editor and creative writer.
I was homeschooled until I went to college, so I've had plenty of experience teaching younger students. I also worked with friends, classmates, and friends of friends in college to work on coursework. I've read quite a few papers, helped with language courses, talked through readings, and even just helped people get organized. Additionally, my husband is a teacher. I've learned many of my philosophies about teaching from him.

I like to spend the first session getting to know each other and asking about the student's learning style. We'll also talk about where you want to start, depending on prior education in the subject, and some goals for our time together. This gives me an idea of what to prepare for and how quickly we'll move through the subject material.

Details
I'm only asking for 7 dollars an hour. I think this is reasonable because while I do have two bachelor degrees, I’m also very new to online tutoring.
