About Sharon
I've always been passionate about effective learning and teaching others. I practice a student-centric approach which keeps the students' abilities, skills and interests at the core of learning. Every student needs tailored learning methods that are best for their success.
I've volunteered as a STEM Tutor (visiting once a week) at a public school for 3 years. I've been a freelance tutor and taught students from Grades 3 - 12. Currently, I'm volunteering with the UN to teach STEM subjects to rural kids in India.
Just graduated with a masters degree in astronautics and space engineering. So I know a thing or two about building rockets and satellites! Although I do not have a formal degree in education, I've been tutoring for a long time. Given my background in engineering and my tutoring experience, I can teach a variety of subjects in science and mathematics.
