About Andrew
I'm a court reporter and summary writer with a background in Latin, Ancient Greek, Political Philosophy, and Liberal Arts. I have worked with students between Grades 5 and 12 on reading and writing skills as well as general academic strategies and mindset techniques. I have an Honors B.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and a Masters in Liberal Arts from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. I am passionate about helping students achieve the best mindset to approach their work in an open and curious manner to achieve a critical and engaging education.

I like to begin conversing with students about how they feel about their school environment and the material they are studying, and then work with them to identify specifically what it is they would like to improve about their mental habits. I typically use studying or reviewing a specific piece together to broach a larger topic on the student's feelings around school and then address those feelings.
I have worked with students between Grades 5 and 12, but prefer working with high school students to help them prepare for their time in college as independent learners.
