About João
My name is João, I am 21 years old and currently a 3rd year student in the Physics Degree at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. Average in national exams (Mathematics + Physics and Chemistry) of 19.75 points. From an early age I have a curiosity in learning, an ease in working with more abstract concepts and I have always tried to help my colleagues. As a student, I am closer to the students' difficulties and I am able to transmit knowledge in a more accessible language. I am available to give explanations to all students to 12th grade in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Natural Sciencies.

My working method includes: - explanation and clarification of theoretical material; - study methods; - development of intuition in addressing real problems; - monitoring the resolution of exercises; - stimulation of critical and autonomous thinking; - discussions. For my part, I guarantee competence in the transmission of all kinds of concepts that fall within my competences, taking various approaches whenever necessary. By this I mean that it is up to me, as the holder of knowledge, to understand what is the best way to transmit information and do it successfully, taking into account the particularities of each student. When teaching, I learn.
