About Trevor
About me:
I am a 3rd year physics and math student at Carleton University. I have a deep love and passion for both physics and mathematics, holding an 85% average in my major's theory courses. I find great enjoyment in translating these difficult concepts into clear, manageable pieces for my students.
My Teaching Style:
- My tutoring will be adaptive and tailored to your learning style to help you learn best,
- I am a calm and understanding person, my lessons will reflect this and be a judgment-free, safe space.
Outside of academics:
I also enjoy rock climbing and playing volleyball at Carleton.

My lessons are for high school and university students up to 2nd year studying math.
My tutoring plan consists of first getting to know the student, learning their current understanding of the course material any concepts they struggle with. I will solve example problems first while explaining each step then offer the student similar problems to solve and observe their thought process, after which I will give feedback.
I will offer visual aids such as graphs on Desmos and 30 second clips of simulations to guide visual intuition. Nearing the end of the lesson we will do a quick review of the learned concepts.
