About Davinia
I am a 3rd Year Medical student at one of the top medical schools in the UK - with a passion for teaching Biology and Chemistry.
I enjoy supporting students' confidence when tacking challenging subjects, and creating engaging lessons to incite curiosity.

Making learning fun, but still effective - I use a combination of 'word blurting' mind maps, recall activities, question sheets/model answer bank and (most importantly!) exam past papers to achieve results. Using my past 5 years as an experienced tutor at various registered and highly rated teaching agencies to guide me.
A firm believer in learning being an active and interactive process, students' should expect lessons filled with different learning exercises and open discussion.
Although methods used to consolidate and expand knowledge is great - perfecting exam technique and mindset is crucial. I reflect this by doing regular real exam past papers (under timed conditions), and teaching students exam 'must do's' and' must do-nots' to get the top results.
My lessons are available for all students of all different levels!
