About Eva
Hi! I am a 3rd year MSci Applied Maths and Physics Student at Queen's University Belfast. I received H1s in my Leaving Cert Maths and Physics, and a H2 in Applied Maths. I have an interest in teaching maths at a secondary school level from helping younger sisters with their maths exams. I am chatty and friendly and have a love for logic, problem-solving and maths. I would love for more students to develop a healthy relationship with maths and understand it for themselves.

I adopt a personalised, student-led approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to meet each student where they are struggling most. I focus on building a strong understanding of the basics and move on from there to explore methods and examples. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long (however I am flexible), allowing time for both teaching and personal understanding. My goal is to boost confidence in the student's ability to do maths, by giving them strong building blocks of understanding and clear methodology. Lessons are typically for Junior Cert Maths students but I am open to considering Leaving Cert options as well. Please feel free to contact me for more information!
