About Tyler
My name is Tyler Schiff. I'm 21, and I'm half-Chinese, half-American. My career goal is to work in sports media. Whether that be for a major network, start-up, or a smaller publication, I am passionate about the industry and hope to make my imprint on it one day. I currently attend Syracuse University as a broadcast and digital journalism major, and I hope to put my learning here to good use someday.

As a tutor, my lesson plans will start with a quick introduction before we move on to any questions and inquiries you may have.
I'd first list your goals for what you'd like to accomplish each session, then ask if you have any materials (essays, worksheets, homework, etc.) that you'd like me to help with / work through. During this time, feel free to ask questions at any time if you feel I'm moving too quickly or if I skipped a step in my explanations.
After working together throughout the session, I'd end with a brief period explaining how you did and what you need to work on.
My lessons are for any level or age of people that need help with their English reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, or grammar. I've been immersed in this world for my entire college career and am comfortable and confident in my abilities.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I'm kind, clear, concise, and willing to adapt to any teaching style that suits you best. Additionally, I'm fully bilingual in Chinese and English for those who are not so confident with their English to start off with.
