About Benedict
In high school and my early university years I always wished I had someone to guide me through the work we go through, someone who has recently been in the same position and knows what is required to excel. I am confident that would have made my journey at least twice as easier. I aim to be that someone who has gone through it all and has the capability to effectively guide and help students reach their academic goals. I achieved the Dean's list award purely from hard work, but I believe that hard work and some guidance enables you to go beyond your potential.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in first principles: we focus deeply on understanding the core concepts of a module rather than relying on rote memorisation of formulas. All lessons are conducted in English. In a typical session, you can expect us to first break down the theory behind a topic, systematically analyse how it works, and then immediately transition into applying those principles to complex calculations and tutorial problems. My lessons are tailored specifically for high school learners, 1st- and 2nd-year engineering students who want to move past simply surviving their modules and actually master the material.
