About Mary Kate
I am a student at Durham university. I have been giving private chemistry lessons two years to a level students of differing abilities. I can provide pre planned sessions based on your particular needs.
I am very academically competent having achieved A*A*A in chemistry maths and English literature respectively at a level. In my degree thus far I have achieved a first.

For A level and GCSE teaching I separate each topic in to content related questions and skills related questions.
Typically I would teach content using aids such as flash cards and repetition to ensure that it is actually remembered.
Skills based questions can be considered tricker but I adopt clear methodologies which can be used to understand and tackle all questions on a particular topic.
Every lesson begins with a goal and finished with a review of what has been covered.
