About Sinemiso
My name is Sinemiso Khahla, and I am currently a 3rd-year Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) student at the University of Johannesburg, on my way to becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). I know exactly what you are going through because I am living it right alongside you—I sit in the same lecture halls, I write the same style of exams, and I have successfully navigated the very courses that you may currently be struggling with.
I offer private tutoring for 1st and 2nd-year university students, specializing in Accounting, Taxation.
What sets me apart is not just my academic knowledge but my proximity to your reality. I am not a distant graduate who studied these subjects a decade ago. I wrote my 1st and 2nd-year exams recently which means I remember the trick questions, the common pitfalls and the exact marking styles used by UJ lecturers. I know which chapters to prioritize and which textbook sections you can safely skim. This insider perspective allows me to teach with precision and efficiency, saving you hours of unnecessary stress.

of Johannesburg. My teaching philosophy is simple: I don't teach to the textbook,I teach to the test.
Because I am only 1 to 2 years ahead of my students, I have a photographic memory of exactly how UJ lecturers set their papers, what they deduct marks for and which "small" topics they love to make into massive exam questions. My methodology is built on active recall and past-paper dissection. In every session, I force students to attempt questions before I show them the answer because real learning happens when you make mistakes in a safe space not in the exam hall. I break down complex IFRS standards into simple step-by-step flows that any student can follow—even if they feel completely lost.
