About Taylor
Hi, I’m Taylor! I am a third-year astrophysics PhD student and physics tutor through my university. I tutor in both American Sign Language and spoken English.
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy. After graduating, I taught four levels of IB physics and a standard level math class at a high school.
When I tutor or teach, I personally invest my time and energy into their success!

I believe in meeting students where they are at. Physics and math do not always come easily but they are never impossible to learn. I have tutored college level physics and taught high school level physics (IB) and math, but I have been helping my two younger sisters with math for most of my life.
Usually when someone does not understand something, it is from a previous concept being taught too quickly. I like to approach problems piece by piece so as a team, we can reach greater understanding. I also like to use silly phrases to help memorization and thought experiments to reinforce base level logic.
