About Akhona

I am a 3rd year accounting student. I have been part of a mentoring program since 2015, mentoring grade 9 and 10 from different schools in Khayelitsha, about resilience and self-empowerment. The program is called Resilient Network founded by Professor Lullu Tshiwula at UWC.

About the lesson

I am one who always strives to achieve the best with others. I believe we can go far if we go together. So in my lessons, I always strive for two-way communication because I believe that we always have something to learn from each other. I tutor up to grade 10 level, learners who are full of enthusiasm and/or willingness to learn.
