About Emily
My name is Emily Kierscht, and I’m passionate about helping students discover a love for learning. I am a current elementary teacher with experience teaching multiple grade levels, including 2nd and 3rd grade, and I specialize in supporting students in both math and reading. As a tutor, I focus on creating a positive, encouraging environment where each child feels confident to take risks and grow. I tailor lessons to meet individual learning styles, ensuring that students not only strengthen foundational skills but also develop strategies they can carry with them in the classroom and beyond. I believe every child has the ability to succeed, and my goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable. Hi! My name is Emily Kierscht, and I am passionate about helping elementary students grow in both math and reading. I am currently a 3rd grade teacher with experience working with students of all learning levels, from those who need extra support to those ready for enrichment and challenge.
With a background in teaching both reading and math, I focus on building strong foundational skills while also making learning engaging and fun. I believe every child can succeed when given the right tools, encouragement, and strategies that fit their learning style.
