About Amaya
My name is Amaya! I am a second-year college student who studies health and plans to go to medical school to become a doctor. I understand the anxious feeling of not understanding a topic but being confused about where to start to ask for help. My goal with you guys is to make everything easy so their stress is eased! I want everyone to feel comfortable to communicate their misunderstanding so we can always stay clear and caught up :)

I am a second-year college student who understands the challenges students of all ages face since I am actively learning myself. My goal is to always make learning simpler and clear to understand, approachable and stress-free, allowing my students to feel comfortable with the instruction. My teaching style will include breaking down concepts, using examples and comparing and guiding questions that will relate to work they may face in school. For my typical lesson plan, I will include check-ins, review of key and major concepts, practice problems as a team as well as independently with summaries to be further looked into. My lessons are designed for children and teens ranging from early elementary to high school students.
