About Tapur

Though I am an undergrad student as well who is still in the process of learning lessons in and out of university, I assure you of my strong and professional work ethic as well as sensitivity to my students. A more interactive learning is my idea of excelling. I only recently achieved a 3.9 GPA in my summer courses, after a series of struggles in my fall-winter semesters, which proves that anyone can do anything they set their minds to, which is also why I know exactly how it feels to fall behind your classmates and also, a way to be a dark horse and maximize your success! I graduated with an IB diploma in high school, therefore my experience in research paper writing, thesis analysis, and the works :) I am fluent in Hindi and Spanish, hence I can provide a helping hand for those who have not learned English as their first language.

About the lesson

Lessons with me would not be too unconventional, though I will try my best to provide lectures that cater to any area of English that you’re looking to improve, and I mean, any. I will also try to be the cool teacher everyone wants, whilst making sure my students excel in their goals!

I want to make sure that the learning environment is easy-going, approachable, and one where I can be more like your friend too. I do not like pressurising my students, and I believe the right amount of support and guidance can lift anyone from the deepest pits :)

HOW I PLAN TO TEACH:
- Depending on the course material - I will first assess the student's weaknesses and thus create a schedule for them to dedicate a suitable amount of time to these areas of improvement.
- Homework that the student can mail to me by the end of the week (7 days is a lot of time to catch up!) ; extensions are always welcome unless the student is falling behind.
- Interactive learning where the student will try to navigate through course material with my help, but also learn to critically think - this means they won't require my assistance after a couple of classes anymore!
