About Jessica
I would love to help encourage and inspire other young people to achieve their studying goals. I would also like to instill confidence in students of all ages in their learning abilities. It's okay to get things wrong, it's how you learn.
I am a 20-year-old psychology student at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I moved to the Sunshine Coast 2 years ago, on my own to pursue my studies. I am from Gladstone which is a small town about a 5-hour drive north from the Sunshine Coast. As I moved away from my family I have to work part-time to support myself through my full-time study. I am currently a Manger at ALDI however am looking for some extra cash to help cover bills.

Lesson lengths will vary however I believe that for any real progress to be made the lesson should be at least an hour-2 hours long, however I am happy to go longer if the student feels they need more time.
I don't believe in giving students the answer. I will encourage out-of-the-box thinking. the main moto of my teaching is that no idea is a bad idea, there is no such thing as a stupid question and the best way to learn is to get things wrong and keep trying until you get it right. I am patient and happy to spend time and explain a concept in as many ways as necessary for the student to understand.
As a successfully graduated ATAR student and current psychology university student I have experience in writing and proofreading academic essays and assignments, I am also very experienced in research and reading comprehension. I have tutored both primary and high school-aged children in multiple subjects including, English, mathematics, sciences, history, and more!
I am confident in teaching any child at a primary school level and younger in any subject. I am also confident in teaching high school students from grades 7-10 and non-ATAR students in grades 11 and 12 in any subject. I am confident teaching ATAR students in grades 11 and 12 however subjects may vary and this can be discussed further.
