About Toumani
As aforementioned , I am a 2nd year medical student currently at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where I study Holistic Medicine.
I recently moved here from Geneva,Switzerland in January of this year to pursue a Medical Degree in English.
I was used to tutoring my classmates in highschool and in my undergraduate degree.
I have a keen interest in learning and how to learn effectively especially in children and teenagers.
So much that I am currently doing research in paediatrics, specifically targetted at diet and learning styles in children and teenagers.

I strongly believe that the easiest way to learn a language is by conversing about daily life.
Therefore, our lesson plans will start with a 5-10 minute catch up on the students life, popular culture,news events etc. This will allow the student to learn to express themselves in a casual setting.
As for the rest of the lesson, we will find ways to incorporate their curriculum, French media and culture.
I will also be giving students a weekly task, whether it is watching their favorite netflix show in French with English Subtitles or an excerpt of French news etc. I am flexible.
This learning will allow the students to engage further in the French language and to enjoy their learning!
