About Leigha
2nd Year Masters of Education student. I have a Bachelors (Hons) in Bioanalytical Science, and have been teaching Physchem and Junior Cert Science for the last year and am teaching Biology, Chemistry and Science this year.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was young, and due to having some incredibly inspiring teachers along the way, I have since followed that dream.

I believe in a Universal Design for Learning approach to both teaching and learning, which involves giving students multiple means to learn and take in information. Lessons will be personalised to each student, depending on their strengths in order to get the most of out every session. As mentioned, I have a years experience teaching in a school, following both the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert curriculums and therefore am able to teach anyone in secondary school.
