About Ethan

Over the past three years I have tutored more than 20 students, and my passion for teaching has grown with every lesson. Seeing students build confidence, master difficult concepts and achieve top grades, including A and A*, is incredibly rewarding. My goal is not only to help students succeed in exams, but to help them realise their own potential and develop the skills needed to excel independently.

My passion for academics mirrors the dedication I bring to my sporting pursuits, including powerlifting, rugby and kickboxing. These disciplines have taught me the value of discipline, resilience and consistent effort, qualities that I aim to pass on to every student I teach.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on helping students think like problem-solvers rather than simply memorising methods. I introduce challenging questions and guide students through the process of breaking them down step by step, building both confidence and independence. By understanding the reasoning behind each concept, students become far better equipped to handle unfamiliar and higher-level exam questions.
