About Jan
Hello I am Jan and I graduated from high school back in 2011 from Benicia High School. I currently go to American River College in Sacramento, CA. I have a 3.2 GPA currently and I am majoring in General Business so I have taken many mathematics courses in my lifetime. I am a passionate educator committed to creating an opportunity for all of my students to develop their skills in a supportive learning environment. I believe that it is essential to establish a relationship with my students based upon respect, trust and open communication. I will work to develop a relationship with each of my students based on understanding their strengths and weaknesses as well as their educational goals and learning styles. It is my belief that consistent improvement requires a strong foundation. Therefore, I will emphasize the development of strong fundamentals, while providing structured guidance and support to help build the confidence of my students.
