About Cailan
My name is Cailan Thackray, an ex-Rosebank College student, now attending the University of Sydney. I am currently undertaking a double degree in Computer Science and Business Analytics. Teaching others mathematics, and what I myself have learned during high school, is a passion of mine. I believe in building and maintaining a strong work ethic, as it sets you up very well for the challenges of uni and post-HSC life.

I am 2024 HSC graduate with an ATAR of 91.8 and a band-6 in Advanced Mathematics. My goal is to just make it easier for all students to understand what they're learning through teaching them fundamentals, shortcuts and how to quickly approach exam questions.
For each lesson, typically 1-2 hours, I follow a simple three-part structure:
1. Unpacking and answering questions you're struggling on. Each student will have access to a doc where they are able to add such questions. The goal is to ensure that students understand the fundamentals of the concept/question.
2. Working through current school topics / assesments or exam preparation.
3. Running you through a short homework task (on what you believe you need more practice on)
Lessons are for all ages, through Years 7-12!
