About Mena
My name is Mena and I graduated high school last year! Currently, I am studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at UWA. I know what the exams are like, what is needed to prepare, and how to survive high school, because well, I’ve done it all before! I got an 88 on my English ATAR exam and maintained an A grade in Modern History all throughout ATAR. I am genuinely passionate about English, Modern History, and Literature, and however disconcerting my love for school subjects may be, it will be useful to you! I have prior experience tutoring, as well as working with neurodivergent people if needed.

For ATAR specific tutoring: English and Literature tutoring, while being tailored to the student's needs, will include a comprehensive guide to examinations, terminology, and concepts as well as general study tips and essay skills. Modern history will focus on the key aspects of the marking rubrics for both source analysis and essays. I will focus on ways to gather and memorize key evidence, understand and write about historical events, and interpret sources. I have an array of past English and Literature assignments to work with, as well as Modern history source analysis notes and palm cards!! General high school / non-ATAR tutoring will be tailored to the curriculum / skill levels
