About Aaron

I am a passionate tutor who believes that teaching is more than just delivering information—it's about being a mentor and guiding students through their academic journey. I take pride in seeing my students succeed and the joy they feel when they achieve their goals, especially when they bring home those well-earned high marks.

I see a bit of myself in every student I teach—the enthusiasm to learn, the challenges they face, and the determination to improve. This perspective allows me to connect with students on a deeper level and offer the support they need to succeed both academically and personally.

My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results but to inspire them to become confident, independent learners.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring:

I believe in a personalised and engaging approach to tutoring, focusing on building a strong understanding of the subject matter through a mix of explanation, practical application, and consistent feedback. I prioritise fostering a growth mindset, helping students not only improve their academic skills but also gain confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are structured to suit each student’s needs, whether they’re working to catch up on foundational concepts or aiming for top-level performance. I incorporate problem-solving exercises, real-world applications, and interactive discussions to keep lessons dynamic and enjoyable. I also believe in setting clear, achievable goals and tracking progress regularly.

Each lesson typically lasts between 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the student's preference and attention span. I tailor the duration and intensity of each session based on what will work best for each individual student.

Qualifications & Experience:

As the Dux of Toowoomba Grammar School 2024, Head Academic Leader, and a Prefect, I have extensive leadership and academic experience. My ATAR of 99.8 reflects my dedication to academic excellence. I have also led tutoring initiatives for younger students, providing guidance in various subjects, including science, maths, and English.

Who My Lessons Are For:

I offer tutoring for high school students, including those in Years 11 and 12 working towards their QCE, as well as primary school students.
