About Andrew
I am a 2022 graduate from Tufts University with a love for Economics. I have worked as a private tutor for high schoolers and as an Economics Tutor for Tufts University. Next fall I will be working as a teacher at Loomis Chaffee, one of the best private schools in the nation, as well as working towards my Masters's in Education from UPenn.

I am a strict proponent of the belief that memorization does not equate to knowledge. By working with me, my students will not merely be able to recite definitions and solve textbook problems but they will learn how to use their knowledge of the subject to address challenging problems that require critical thinking abilities. Additionally, everyone has varying learning preferences so I seek to adjust my lessons to best fit those of my students.
A normal lesson together would look as follows:
1.) A challenging, real-world problem of what we’re learning will be given.
2.) Look at the “building blocks” of what is needed to solve said problem.
3.) Break down this problem into multiple smaller ones and address them.
4.) Begin to come up with answers to the smaller problems.
5.) Begin to address our real-world problems.
6.) (if time permits) create similar application problems together and solve them.

Andrew has been tutoring my son (10th grade) during the '21-'22 academic school year. He is extremely organized, patient, and professional as a teacher. At the same time, Andrew makes his tutoring sessions fun to keep my son engaged on the lessons and assignments at hand. My son has shown great academic improvement this school year while working with Andrew. Andrew always goes above and beyond teaching my son and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking teacher/tutor.
