About Hiba
I am a first year medical student, having recently turned 18 and completing my A levels.
Using my revision techniques, I was able to achieve A*A*AA at A level in Biology, Maths, Chemistry and Further Maths (AS), as well as all 9s at GCSEs.
I chose to do tutoring as it is a way of solidifying my own learning, additionally having noticed that there are limited resources for EDEXCEL B biology at A level, as I myself struggled to find notes specific to the exam board. I hope to make things easier for someone else, and hope that my teaching pays off. I enjoy talking to people, and being able to help someone achieve the grades they want is very rewarding.

Typically, a lesson is 30 minutes to an hour, depending on what the student needs. I’ll tend to ask what topic they want to study beforehand to prepare, go through the actual content, key words and then focussing on exam techniques and actually securing those marks.
I personally am a visual learner, and I’ve found that within biology, diagrams and analogies are always useful. After securing the knowledge, I always put this into practice by completing exam questions.
