About Phoebe
I am a first year medical student currently who took physics, chemistry, biology, maths, and English at higher. I enjoy running and play the cello in my free time. Studying takes up a lot of my time but medicine has always been my goal and I couldn’t be happier!

In reference to higher biology, I believe understanding is key to answering questions. I focus on making sure you can explain back to me the content you have learnt confidently and being able to fix your understanding when required. Once the understanding is where it should be, we will focus on past papers and the different question types that come up. In terms of higher maths, practising questions is the only way of improving. For tutoring we would be practising the questions you struggle with the most to understand the process of coming to the correct answer. Obviously, studying can be stressful and I fully understand as I’ve been there too but hopefully by helping with studying strategies together you won’t be as scared for the final exam.
