About Jonathan
Having entered my degree through a comprehensive Engineering Foundation Year, I completely understand what it feels like to face challenging academic concepts, and I know exactly how to break them down so they finally make sense.
Why I want to teach:
I want to teach because I love when a student finally understands a difficult topic. Mathematics and physics can feel incredibly intimidating when strictly taught from a textbook.
My goal is to use my engineering background to show students the practical real-world value of these subjects. I want to give them the exact logical problem-solving tools, confidence and exam techniques that allowed me to succeed at a university level, setting them up for massive success in their upcoming GCSEs.

I am a final-year Mechanical Engineering student at City University of London, currently working at a 1st-class level.
Because engineering is the real-world application of science, I don't just teach formulas - I teach students how they actually work. I specialise in breaking down tough topics like algebra, geometry, and forces into simple step-by-step logic.
