About Myuran

I am a first class degree Law graduate who has over 400 hours of experience teaching children aged 7 to 16.

I am currently working in a secondary school as a teacher and help mainstream students, as well as teaching English, Science and Maths to those with speech and language difficulties.

Working with these children has taught me so many different learning and memorisation techniques, as well as multiple different 'games' to use occasionally to keep a student motivated and looking forward to my lessons.

I have extensive experience in 11+ exams too, as I entered and passed all four 11+ exams with the help of very talented tutors.

About the lesson

I have received tutoring myself from multiple tutors since the age of 8 and I am confident that I can find the best way to teach your child, and importantly make them enjoy every lesson.

I will follow the corresponding syllabus very closely and set regular homework and tests so the child themselves can see their progress, and make learning as fun as possible by using games and quizzes.

I have over 400 hours of tutoring experience for kids aged 7 to 16 in Maths, English and Science, and I am confident that whatever ability your child has, I can nurture and help them to fulfil their potential.

I took four 11+ exams, and passed them all, and went to a grammar school called Tiffin for my secondary education. In the Wallington 11+ exam, I came first out of 1500 students. I learnt so many tips and tricks to help out with my 11+ exams, and I am sure they will help your child pass their exams too.

For my GCSEs, I achieved over 97% in my Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics exams, and so I am confident that I can teach the techniques that I used in my exams and general learning to your child.

Lessons can be 1 hour long for 7+/KS2/KS3 students and 1.5 hours long for 11+/GCSE students.

Lessons will take place at my home in New Malden or at your location (within a certain radius). One-to-one and group sessions (at a discounted price) are available.
