About Teagan
Growing up in an English native home, my mother instilled an appreciation in me for this language. Therefore, I pursued both English and AP English in high school, for which I achieved 95% and 90%, respectively. This was the highest grade achieved in the provence. In addition, I was asked to tutor students on how to compose the perfect university personal statements and applications as I was accepted to over 13 universities in the UK and USA due to the success of my own application essays.
Due to this achievement, I began teaching English to high school students across England and South Africa, many of whom went on to achieve A*s in their examinations and were accepted into their first choice universities.

Before teaching a student, I like to know what their preferred method of learning is. I have the ability to be flexible in my approach whether that be with more practice papers, quizzes, reading and reviewing, or assigning short assignments which I provide both verbal and written feedback on. Moreover, I believe that there should be a reward and praising system whereby students feel acknowledged for their accomplishments so as to motivate them to continue working and achieving.
