About Mungo
I received my first class honours degree from the RWCMD in 2023 having studied with Andrè Swanepoel, Rebecca Jones and Alex Thorndike as well as receiving coaching and private tuition from Lucy Gould, Alice Neary and David Adams. I am currently a scholarship master student at the GSMD studying with Matthew Jones. Over the course of my education I have participated in masterclasses and coaching with visiting artists and groups such as Timothy Ridout, the Consone Quartet, the Tippet Quartet, Quator Agate, the Lindsay Quartet, the Brodsky Quartet, the Endellion Quartet and the Chilingirian Quartet.
I have performed at renowned venues including the Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, St David’s hall and Milton Court Hall as a chamber musician, soloist and orchestral musician and I am currently a member of the Buxton International Festival Chamber Collective.

I am a dedicated, experienced and motivated teacher with a range of knowledge and strategies that gives me the ability to tailor each lesson to the student's specific way of learning. My goal as a teacher is to develop self sufficient and critically thinking students and deliver efficient, effective and above all enjoyable lessons! I am keen to impart the technical and musical expertise I have gained having spent countless one to one time with respected principals and soloists over the course of my education onto the next generation of musicians with the hope of giving them the opportunity to forge a career path into the arts.
