About Teresa

1st Class Psychology BSc (Hons) graduate, who has received the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award for Best Overall Performance and London Met’s Recognition Award for Academic Excellence, within the Top Thirty Students in 2017. Currently, I am a Student Ambassador
Programme Assistant at London Metropolitan University. I’ll be starting a PhD at Queen’s University Belfast in September and I am an active member of the InteRRaCt Lab.

I have delivered several Psychology talks to students from year 9 to year 12 and have been an Ambassador/Mentor for Psychology Summer School students. I have worked as a Senior Mentor for NCS - The Challenge in London. I have also worked as a Success Coach providing academic support for 1st year undergraduate Psychology students in 2015/16. Member of the British Psychological Society.

About the lesson

I believe that interactive classes allow students to be a lot more involved in the content being explored, ensuring that there is a mix of audio-visuals, Q&As, hands-on activities and theoretical discussions. Having been a student myself, I am aware of the necessity of tailoring for different learning styles and constantly learning from the students as well.
