About Edward
I am a final year student at University College London (ranked 9th in the QS World University Rankings 2024), studying French and Spanish.
I have studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, one of Europe's most prestigious universities, and the University of Granada in Spain.
I specialise in linguistics and contemporary literature, and am passionately interested in the study of modern languages and would like to get into teaching once I finish my degree.

In prior roles tutoring Spanish to A-level students I have offered hour-long sessions in which we discuss, in the target language, content which appears on the A-level (or equivalent) syllabus. This offers a way for the student to improve their confidence in the language, while absorbing material which will be essential for their exams.
While at university in Spain and France, I studied the field of applied linguistics within the teaching of foreign languages and am therefore well-versed in the most modern and effective teaching strategies in the acquisition of a second language.
I also offer sessions for younger students who need help and guidance on grammar learning, or who wish to practice their speaking skills in a conversation-based way.
