About Jordan
I myself am a junior in college, and the ages that I intend to tutor, I was in that position myself just recently. I understand that it does get difficult, and as an engineering major I can say that definitively. However, I also understand the importance of being sure of what you learn. In grade school, my confidence on homework, quizzes, tests, etc. was high because I was confident in what I learned. As I got to college, I was dual enrolled my last two years of high school, I had to learn through countless mistakes the importance of understanding fundamental concepts rather than just blatant memorization. I am young, 20 years, but I was blessed with an intellectual mind and would love to serve by helping others with theirs.

I'm more immersive. I like to see how the student is working and offer helpful hints or advice along the way. I ensure that the student fully understands a concept, and if I use a shortcut of some kind or simplification, I like to teach them that way as well.
I have minor experience in tutoring and I would consider it more teaching than tutoring as I typically went off of what work my peer needed help with. However, I will ask the student what subject they are in need of help with. I create easier problems to work with to better help understand the fundamental concepts of the material and move up from there.
Lessons: Typically aimed at grades 7-12, and freshman and sophomore year college students.
