About Lily
I am a passionate high school Science teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, having taught thousands of students since graduating from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education (double degree).
I enjoy helping students understand science in a clear and engaging way by connecting concepts to everyday life. I have extensive experience teaching Stage 4–6 Science, including HSC Biology and Physics.
Through my experience developing and marking assessment tasks, I can also provide valuable guidance on how to structure answers and apply effective exam strategies to help students achieve top marks.

My Science lessons focus on making complex ideas clear and engaging by linking scientific concepts to real-world examples. With over 10 years of experience teaching HSC Biology and Physics in the classroom, I understand the syllabus, common misconceptions, and the skills students need to succeed in exams.

Each lesson is personalised to the student’s goals, whether they are building foundational understanding, preparing for assessments, or aiming to achieve top HSC results. I focus on making science accessible for students of all abilities while building their confidence in answering exam questions clearly and effectively.
I offer flexible scheduling in Sydney’s Inner West from Riverwood to Maroubra, with sessions available at the student’s home or nearby public spaces. I am happy to discuss where is convenient for you!
