About Siwar

Who I Am as a Teacher My name is Siwar, and I’m an elementary school teacher with a strong background in education. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at the University of Montreal, where I’ve also had the opportunity to teach in university-level settings. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults. This diversity has helped me develop a flexible teaching style that adapts naturally to different age groups and learning needs. Whether I’m working with a young learner, a teen preparing for exams, or an adult rediscovering the language, I know how to create the right dynamic to keep them engaged and progressing. What truly defines me as a teacher is the genuine connection I build with students, especially children. I have a calm and encouraging presence that helps learners feel at ease, even if they’re shy or hesitant at first. I don’t only teach content, I create a space where people feel seen, supported, and motivated, which helps them grow with confidence. I know how to spark interest, capture attention, and adapt my approach to different personalities and learning styles. About the lesson

When I arrived in Canada, I noticed that many children from Arabic-speaking families were struggling to learn Arabic, and that their parents often felt frustrated, not knowing how to help them stay connected to their heritage. That’s where I come in. I offer Arabic lessons specifically adapted to children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on helping young learners from Arabic-speaking backgrounds feel more at ease and motivated when learning the language. My approach is gentle, interactive, and personalized. For children, I use visuals, stories, and games to create a fun and welcoming environment. For teens and adults, I adjust the lessons to match their goals — whether it's reading and writing, conversation practice, or cultural connection. My lessons include: Arabic for beginners (alphabet, pronunciation, basic vocabulary) Modern Standard Arabic: speaking, listening, reading, and writing Interactive and engaging sessions for children Online lessons First session is free, we’ll take the time to understand your goals and build a personalized plan!
